We spent a week at the East Fork Campground at Lake Lavon. This was a beautiful park with large RV sites with covered picnic areas at each location. There is a boat launch on the property and near a marina.
Unfortunately, the rain made the park a swamp. You can see the rain washed out part of the marina and a road behind the park.
The floating dock, doesn’t really float with all the high lake water.
This RV site is underwater.
We were happy to get together with some friends while we were in the area.

Wow that is a lot of water. You have been so lucky to have such great weather on almost all of your trip …but
leave it to Texas to have the bad weather. I am sure you still had a great time visiting all your friends. Hope your next stop is great again.

Yep. Texas was a challenge with all the water. So far we have been lucky. Fingers crossed that will continue.
